Shadow Reading Video

This is the part of my favorite movie, called "her" This guy fall in love with Samantha, an intelligent computer operating system personified through a female voice.
Plus, I really recommend you to see this movie, Her. It is really touching and.. hurts my heart.

Script
M: What are you doing?
W: I'm just looking  at the world...and writing a new piano piece.

M:Oh, yeah? Can I hear it?
W: Mm-hm.
(Song)
M: What's  this one about?
W: Well, I was thinking we don't really have any photographs of us and... I thought this song could be, like...a photograph captures us in this moment in our lives together.
M: Mm.. I like our photograph. I can see you in it.
W: I am.

Shelf video 2 reflection

First, it was difficult to work alone for everything making video. Recording voice, editing video, making script, thinking topic and ideas and so on..
Second, I think there are some parts that I didn't say anything. Actually,  It was hard to keep speaking for all time about 9mins, and had not really things to say. Sorry...TT
But following TV cooking program was fun and the taste was fantastic! I was satisfied with my cocktail.

Job Interview Reflection

First, my speaking was not good and there was nothing to speak of job interview.
I realized that my career is not enough to say and i need to do something helpful for my job. If i were an employer, i would not choose me... So, I have to practice speaking English more and do some outside activities for my future job. But that experience in the class was good and fun. Fighting!!

The First Shelf Project Reflection & Shelf2 Plan

1. My team's first shelf project was about comparing each life of dormitory, studio apartment and family house. It was a great work that intended to introduce which living condition will be fit you. We tried to record the introduction for 3minutes, but it actually took 3hours so i felt tired and stressed out. If one person make a mistake, we had to record it again. hahaha... But, well, I think we get closer since we are all same age and kind of enjoy it in the last scene. So, it was fun! It was a bit helpful project because we made an English script and practice, and recorded it in English. It was first time to record English video with a team and upload it in Youtube and blog. Our teamwork was amazing ;) I feel my English speaking is a bit awkward, but believe it could be great informative material.

2. I am not sure, but I hope to record my challenging new extreme activity on the next shelf project. For  example, going paragliding, doing bungee jump, or trying roller coaster in amusement park. I think extreme activities will be fun and famous in June but many people are afraid of  challenging it. So I will try, and fight with my fear and panic, then show it through my recording. I am still afraid of it..

Ducks Go Quack, Chickens Say Cluck - Onion Talks - Ep. 3

  • a Short Description : This is the parody(or satire) of TED talks. He intentionally pause for a moment while talking. Even though there's no point in the talk, the audiences give a standing ovation and pretend that it was a good speech.

  • Why you find it interesting : I sometimes watch TED videos to study English. Some speakers really do like the guy in that video. He says "How do we get our chickens to quack? That is up to you." But I still haven't  worked out how the chicken could talk to the duck. It's fun.

  • Language learning points : I learned the sound of animals. "The Duck says quack, the chicken says cluck, and the cow says moo. The animals are friends with each other."

  • Discussion Questions (optional):
-Why do you think some people satirize the TED talks?

-What do you think about the meaning of this types of  parodies?
