Ducks Go Quack, Chickens Say Cluck - Onion Talks - Ep. 3
a Short Description : This is the parody(or satire) of TED talks. He intentionally pause for a moment while talking. Even though there's no point in the talk, the audiences give a standing ovation and pretend that it was a good speech.
Why you find it interesting : I sometimes watch TED videos to study English. Some speakers really do like the guy in that video. He says "How do we get our chickens to quack? That is up to you." But I still haven't worked out how the chicken could talk to the duck. It's fun.
Language learning points : I learned the sound of animals. "The Duck says quack, the chicken says cluck, and the cow says moo. The animals are friends with each other."
Discussion Questions (optional): -Why do you think some people satirize the TED talks? -What do you think about the meaning of this types of parodies?
